FuelActive fuel savings have been independently demonstrated through a six-month trial with L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage, one of the UK's leading equipment providers. Furthermore, these results demonstrate meaningful cost reductions and emissions savings, confirming the real-world effectiveness of FuelActive’s clean fuel system.

Trial Results with 10 Machines

In the pilot phase, FuelActive’s innovative clean fuel technology was retrofitted to 10 machines. Outcomes included:

• 3.6% reduction in fuel consumption
• £9,000 in annual fuel cost savings
• 20 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided
• Zero fuel-related breakdowns

Scaling Across the Fleet

As a result of the successful trial, Lynch is now expanding the use of FuelActive technology across its articulated dump truck fleet. Forecasts for this broader rollout include:

• £370,000 in annual FuelActive fuel savings
• 970 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided annually

How FuelActive Works

Importantly, FuelActive ensures that engines draw fuel from the cleanest part of the tank, above water and sediment, rather than from the bottom where contaminants typically settle. This not only increases fuel efficiency, but also reduces engine wear, maintenance costs, and unplanned downtime.

Operators of diesel engines benefit from cleaner fuel delivery, which helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions. For example, extensive trials on heavy goods vehicles have proven a ~3-5% fuel efficiency improvement, with a corresponding CO2 reduction.
